We are hosting our 2nd Annual "Rise Up Against Addiction" poker run. This event spread awareness and raises money to support women in recovery for drug and alcohol addiction. All proceeds from this event fund our Sober Living Scholarship program. This program provides financial support to get women working on recovery treatment into an accredited structured home where she can continue treatment while seeking employment and obtaining a productive life in sobriety. Last year's event brought out over 100 motorcycles and many supporters. All during a pandemic. It is expected that attendance will double this year. Addiction is a disease that does not discriminate. It finds its way into every neighborhood in every town. The greatest weapon we have is community. When we rise up together and fight back for all those we love that have lost their battle and for those still in the fight.
