2nd Star Productions is committed to bringing quality community theatre to Prince George's County and the Baltimore/Washington/Annapolis area through performance, involvement and education.

We are happy to celebrate our 27th season with our members and the community! We completed the first two shows of the season, "Sister Act" and "for colored girls who have considered suicide/when the rainbow is enuf".  Our season concludes with the Sondheim favorite "Into the Woods".  With the auction fundraiser we look forward to continue providing funding for our operations, performance, and educational expenses.

Our operation costs include warehouse storage for props, costume, set, and building, along with theatre rental space costs for technical rehearsals and shows. This also includes marketing expenses.  We also offer an annual scholarship to high school seniors who have been somehow involved in 2nd Star Productions to contribute to college expenses.
