Camp Summit's 30th Annual Golf Tournament is on Monday, April 29th at Bear Creek Golf Course (near DFW Airport). 144 golfers will have breakfast & lunch, play a full round of golf, and take part in exciting contests & raffles. This FUN day will raise much-needed funds for Camp Summit. For 76 years, Camp Summit has operated a year-round, sleep away camp for children, adults, and seniors with disabilities. This barrier-free camp is located in Paradise, Texas and offers a wide variety of traditional camp activities such as a specially designed swimming pool, fishing pond, adapted archery range, a sensory garden, arts & crafts, a ropes course and much more. The facilities are equipped to have upto 2,000 remarkable campers each year. And 90% of those remarkable campers are provided with camperships so that no camper is turned away due to inability to pay. This golf tournament helps Camp Summit make camping dreams come true for remarkable individuals with disabilities.
