The mission of the Education Foundation is to provide support and enhancements for public education in Osceola County.  We provide several programs to benefit students and teachers, such as a teacher free store, scholarships and scholarship counseling, an elementary reading-mentoring program, a high school scholarship and mentoring program, and career pipelines.  The Foundation has been operating for 38 years.

Reason for assistance: 

Employment data shows that 75% of jobs require training beyond high school graduation.  Training fees and college tuition continues to raise. Students struggle to fund higher education.  The Education Foundation Osceola County has several scholarship programs to benefit students who need assistance with funding career and college training.  Over the last 29 years, we have provided over 6,500 students with over $9.5 million worth of scholarship assistance.  This financial assistance helps us make futures brighter for students and the entire community.  Our 30th Annual "Larry Godwin Memorial Scholarships for Kids Golf Classic'', being held at Royal St. Cloud Golf Links on Friday, November 10, 2023, is our largest fund raiser for the year.  We expect a full flight of 300 players and our fundraising goal is $150,000.
