The Peacham School Parent Teacher Friend Group (PTF) is seeking donations for our annual fundraiser, the Mud and Muck Auction.  This year marks the 30th anniversary of the auction and the first time in a few years it will be hosted in person again! Join us at the town gym on April 1st, 2023. Tickets must be purchased in advance. A silent online auction will also be included.   

The mission of the Peacham School PTF Group is to enrich education and community experiences by supporting Peacham School. Parents, teachers, and community members work to expand opportunities and promote quality education through engagement with arts, science, wellness, and community. We strive to organize activities that enhance the "Peacham PRIDE" behavior model at Peacham School; to develop a strong network of parents, school staff and community members committed to the health, education and welfare of Peacham School’s children.

As a celebration of the Mud and Muck 30th anniversary, and as an event to bring our community together for fellowship and laughs, Vermont comedian, The Logger will be performing and acting as auctioneer.  Food and beverage will be available throughout the evening and silent auction items will be on display for viewing.   The auction is the PTF’s largest fundraiser of the year in which we hope to raise over $8,000.   These funds are critical to allow Peacham School students to participate in the winter ski program at Burke Mountain. Support of the auction allows all students an opportunity to learn to ski or snowboard with no financial pressure on the annual school budget; the PTF is able to cover all costs of this program.   

The Peacham School PTF provides many other wonderful programs for students. In the past we have funded musical instruments for the music program, physical education equipment, the Four Winds hands-on science program, swim lessons, Artist in Residence programs, an ice rink, as well as the community playground. We contribute to the Thelma White Scholarship Fund, Community Santa Fund and our own new Sunshine Fund designed to support our school staff. We also provide fun inclusive events throughout the year such as community movie nights and barbeques. Enrichment clubs such as chess, math, and theater are newly added (or soon to be!) programs the PTF supports financially.

Peacham PTF Group believes that all children have the right to a quality public education, allowing each child the opportunity to reach his or her fullest potential and assuring strong capable children who will lead us into the future.  We thank you for your thoughtful consideration in supporting our mission, event, and children!

We accept donated services, gift certificates, and new or handmade items.  The success of our fundraiser is largely dependent on the support of local families, friends and staff at the school as well as our greater community.
