Description

The Palm Beach County Sports Commission is proud to announce the 31st Annual Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker
Award Banquet and Silent Auction on Monday, December 5, 2022, at the Marriott West Palm Beach in West Palm
Beach, FL.
The growth of the Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award and its impact on college football is immeasurable.
Thirty-one years have passed since the day the Palm Beach County Sports Commission had a vision that would
eventually become a permanent part of the national college football landscape. What started out as a small
banquet honoring the nation’s top collegiate place-kicker has grown into a week-long event honoring the three
best collegiate place kickers in the country, as well as Palm Beach County’s top high school coach, player, kicker
and team. Our Awards Banquet now has an audience of over 400, and achieving this result is largely due to people
like you, supporting the Award year after year.
Proceeds from the evening benefit the Palm Beach County Sports Commission, a not-for-profit organization,
focused on the development of grass roots of youth sport intitative programs for the youth of Palm Beach County. The Sports Commission
strives to promote healthy lifestyles, high self-esteem, and the importance of teamwork in youth through
participation in sports.
