Description
Pasta for CASA benefits the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Program of Jefferson County. CASA volunteers advocate for children in family court after they have been subject to abuse and/or neglect. These advocates give children a "voice" in family court, express their wishes to the judge through a written report based upon conversations/interactions with the children and assist in expediting permanency to safe, loving, forever homes. The event is moving back to in-person and will feature a dinner, family-friendly activities and an auction/raffle.
