Description

Our Annual Spaghetti Supper event revenue accounts for nearly 10% of our annual budget and is essential to our operations and ability to adapt. Our event costs are kept low through generous in-kind donations of food, space, supplies, and raffle prizes, so that nearly all of the sponsorship, entry ticket and raffle ticket revenue can go toward achieving our mission and better serving our community. Donors receive recognition in our program book, as well as via social media and e-blasts.

The Gray House serves over 12,000 unique residents from the Greater Springfield Community on an annual basis. All efforts are aimed at addressing the root causes of poverty and helping our neighbors break the cycle of poverty. The Gray House achieves this mission by providing food assistance, adult education, and youth programming.

Over the past 12 months, through our food assistance program alone, we served an average of 4,929 individuals per month, a 9% increase from the previous 12 month period and a 197% increase from before the pandemic. Sponsorships and donations to this event ensure that we can continue to meet the ever-growing and changing needs of our neighbors facing food insecurity and poverty.
