Our Mother of the Year event has always brought our community together to celebrate women and mothers! This year, we are delighted to announce that Julia Rendon Reinhart will be honored at our 33rd Mother of the Year Celebration & Luncheon. Julia is Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Valero Energy Corporation. Her areas of specialty include employment law, human resources operations, global security, facilities, and administrative services. Julia is also a leader in our community who believes in and understands the importance of early childhood education and strong family values. Julia is past Chairwoman of the AVANCE – San Antonio Board, where she served as a Board member for over 10 years. She is also a loving and dedicated mother to her daughter, Julianna. In every way Julia embodies the spirit and soul of AVANCE.
