Description

Friends for Youth’s Peninsula Golf Challenge, held at Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club, is our most important fundraising event of the year.  Our 34th annual event will be held on October 11, 2021.

Because the Peninsula Golf Challenge provides such a significant portion of our annual program funding, we are grateful to all of those who support it, as it has become abundantly clear over the past several months that the impact of shelter in place and other restrictions has hit hardest on the community of kids we serve.  The need for the mentoring and support that our programs provide has never been more acute, with the role of a mentor taking on new scope and significance.

The Event will include a Silent Auction, Raffle, and other Prize opportunities.  Event supporters include top Silicon Valley business and community leaders, who are encouraged to patronize those who donate to Friends for Youth's events.  You would receive extensive recognition in event materials as well as promotion from our Emcee, Bay Area media personality Mitch Juricich.

This event benefits Friends for Youth, providing adult mentoring support and guidance through 1:1 and school-based services to impoverished youth. Our services promote and achieve positive youth development; academic achievement; health and wellness; and, critical skills for future success, thriving, and self-sufficiency.
