The Kiwanis Club of Pleasant Grove and
Southeast Dallas Chamber of Commerce
bring together diverse talent and resources to
improve the quality of life for all families that
live, work, play, pray and go to school in
Southeast Dallas.
This year’s golf tournament promises to be
the biggest fundraiser yet as we work together to support non-profits that are transforming
our community. Please join us by becoming a
sponsor.
Your generous gift supports these wonderful
organizations and programs doing amazing
work in Southeast Dallas:
:
•Jerry’s Dream Camp Kiwanis is a Kiwanis
Club of Pleasant Grove effort celebrating 29
years of annually sending up to 80 disadvantaged children to summer camp at no cost to
their families. Approximately 1,225 children
have attended camp at Hidden Acres over the
years. A transformative experience for many! •Since 1998, the Southeast Dallas Chamber
of Commerce Scholarship Fund awards
scholarships to deserving high school seniors

Texans Can Academy, Irma Lerma Rangel
Young Women
’s Leadership School, and WW
Samuell, H Grady Spruce, Skyline, A Plus
Academy and Inspired Vision Academy high
schools. Now up to 156 students and approximately $166,000 in scholarships to date! We
lift up our own! •

The Pleasant Grove Food Pantry, a Partner Agency of North Texas Food Bank, passionately pursues a hunger-free community in
Pleasant Grove and surrounding areas. It is
a critical resource for meeting the needs of
many unemployed/underemployed neighbors.
PGFP focuses on nutrition, providing enough
food for several days of well
-balanced meals
each week. In 2022 the poverty rate more
than doubled and continues to rise. That
means more families than ever are seeking
food assistance.
