Our Spring Benefit is critical to closing the financial gap between tuition and the cost of educating our students and its success depends upon the generosity of corporate sponsors, individual donors, and countless dedicated volunteers. This year’s benefit consists of a Gala and Live Auction on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Redding Roadhouse in Redding, CT. 

As the only accredited Waldorf School in Connecticut, the Housatonic Valley Waldorf School, located in Newtown, serves students from pre-school through eighth grade. Our 119 enrolled students travel from more than 25 towns located in six counties from both Connecticut and New York, with even more children attending our Summer Camps and Parent-Child classes. 

HVWS students grow into thriving young people notable for their confidence, abilities, and the profound human connections they form. We believe Waldorf Education is not just life changing, but world changing, one student as time. As we continue striving to make Waldorf Education accessible to as many families as possible, fundraising activities such as our Spring Benefit become even more critical to balancing our budget. But the real reward is supporting our children and the future they will build!
