When a child in Guelph or Wellington County faces a life-altering injury, illness or rare and debilitating syndrome, the Guelph Wish Fund for Children, in partnership with our community, steps in to serve the child and support the family.

To help fulfil our mission of “making life a little happier” our staff, with the support of dedicated volunteers, plan and organize our annual fundraising events. 

This year, our Annual Golf Tournament will be held in conjunction with our 10-day online auction, June 8th - 18th. Golf attendees will enjoy a day of golf, lunch on the course, games, prizes and a lot of fun! Attendees will also have the pre-registration rights to be the first to bid on various items during our 10-day online auction.

Your support of these events not only brings your organization high-profile recognition as a caring community business, but, most importantly, you’re directly supporting a wish for a child who is living with unimaginable challenges.

It is the generosity of many individuals and companies such as yours over the years that has made it possible for the Guelph Wish Fund for Children to grant wishes and support to children under the age of 19 years of age who reside in Guelph or Wellington County.

Since 1984, we have fulfilled the wishes of over 400 deserving children, all of whom have demonstrated bravery beyond their years as they face heartbreaking medical challenges.

Our annual Golf Tournament and Auction have raised over $500,000 over the years, and we know that this year's events will not disappoint. We will be promoting the Auction to over 2000 of our supporters directly and extensively through various channels. Featuring generously donated items from like-minded businesses whose contribution truly is a demonstration of corporate community leadership. I am hoping that your business will donate a product or service for the Auction.

Your contribution to our online auction will enable us to fulfill our mandate of supporting special children and their families in our community. In return, we will be pleased to acknowledge your donation as a “prize donor”, profile you on all GWFC social media platforms, recognition in our newsletter, Signage at our Donor Appreciation event, and list your Company Name on our website “Special Events” page.
