Description

Our 38th annual Spring Reception will be attended by approximately 300 supporters. The event includes a live and silent auction, a brief speaking program honoring a longtime Laboure supporter of Labouré Center. Our organization has served those in need in South Boston and surrounding communities since 1904. As our largest event, our annual Spring Reception provides proceeds that ensure our much needed programs can continue throughout the coming fiscal year. Labouré Services include:

* Workforce Development: Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aide Training, ESOL – English as a Second or Foreign Language, Computer Training

* Youth Elders & Health Programs:YTY Youth Tutoring Youth, TEAM – Mentoring, Boston Housing Authority Elder Program and Public Health & Wellness services

* Family Stabilization Programs: Social Work, Basic Emergency Needs, Recovering Connections (a program that supports families struggling with addiction) and Family Counseling (including crisis counseling, trauma counseling and parenting skills education).

Your support will enable us to continue offering these services to those in need. Thank you for considering being part of Labouré Center’s long tradition of caring for the community, where 3,000 neighbors were served last year. The mission of Catholic Charities is to build a just and compassionate society rooted in the dignity of all people.

Many thanks,
