This event is an Awareness Walk around a local lake, as well as a fundraiser. We will also have a silent auction and raffle. In the past, we have had face-painting, games, Police K-9 Unit demonstrations, an ambulance and fire truck for children to explore, Star Wars characters, a DJ, drinks, and food. We are hoping to add even more entertainment this year, including a performance from a dance team. We are exploring other possible entertainment options, as well. We have had significant media coverage in the past, including multiple newspaper articles, stories on several local television news stations, and were even the subject a film student's thesis project.
