FCR Inc.'s Cinco de Mayo Celebration of Women began three years ago, when the event committee wanted to honor women in our community who have gone above and beyond, not just for FCR, but for the area community at large. 

We chose Cinco de Mayo as the theme/day for our celebration as this day commemorates a Mexican Victory despite overwhelming odds which changed the course of the country's future.  We honor women who have accomplished so much throughout their lives and have paved the way for all women and children who are victims of violence or trauma, to realize brighter futures.

The tradition continues! This year in addition to honoring two amazing women, will also include the Wayne McAllister Community Service Award recipient; the award is named in honor of a longtime board member of FCR and active member of the community.  

The night starts off with Fiesta Del Norte Mariachi players welcoming you in and will include a buffet dinner, silent and live auction and a live raffle followed by salsa lessons and dancing with DJ Matteo.
