Good Samaritans of Garland (Good Sam) is celebrating 40 years of feeding, helping, and serving families and individuals in need.  You are invited to join us for our 40th anniversary celebration at our 3rd Annual Murder Mystery Dinner/Silent Auction, Some Anniversary, Saturday, March 4, 2023, starting at 6:00 p.m. at The Atrium, 300 N. 5th St., Garland, TX  75040.   Cast members of the play include Paul Mayer (Garland Chamber CEO), Bryan Bradford (City Manager Emeritus), Merrill Balanciere, Dorothy White, Tiffany LeMay, Libby Odom, Kimberly Lloyd, and Beth Dattomo. 

This event supports and brings awareness to the community about Good Sam’s mission:   compassionately feeding, helping, and serving food in-secure individuals and families.  Our prior Murder Mystery Dinner/Silent Auctions were a sold-out show, and this one is well on its way. 

The community need for services provided by Good Sam continues to grow due to the increased cost of rent and food. In 2022 the Good Sam staff and volunteers compassionately assisted over 63,000 clients, with 1,050,807 meals, a 21% increase in clients served since 2021. 

How can you help Good Sam with these growing needs?  Sponsoring a table or donating a product or service for our silent auction will provide needed resources for our food in-secure and hungry neighbors.  In addition, your community involvement is an easy and effective way to establish meaningful relationships, build brand awareness, and grow your business.
