Hello!  My name is Sarah Bishop and I am writing on behalf of the Marigold/Loma Vista School PTA (located in Chico, CA).   We would graciously accept any donation (tickets, swag, promotional items) that could be used as a raffle prize for our spring Superhero themed carnival (to be held on May 17, 2024).  This event was established to celebrate our amazing students, teachers, and families.   This is not a fundraiser event, but instead a morale boost for our school community.  We use the raffle to offset the cost of the event, to make the overall event no cost to families. 

The Marigold/Loma Vista School PTA has a strong group of parents that work together to improve/enhance our school community.  Our program spans two campuses, one serving TK-5th grade and one serving our special needs preschool students.  Last year, PTA was able to enhance our school with the following: Swing sets for the school, Mural on the ball walls, Mural on the kindergarten building, On-site teacher supply cabinets, $250 budget per Marigold/Loma teacher as well as some support staff, Supporting teachers with cost of field trips and plays, Loma Sensory Table, Jog-A-Thon, and our super important Staff Appreciation Week.  It also provides and organizes volunteers for all major school events! It is the involvement of so many dedicated Marigold and Loma Vista parents, teachers and staff that help make Marigold and Loma Vista such an amazing school community.
