Like most of the theatre community, 2020 was a very challenging year for us at the Moonlight. While we expected to be celebrating 40 years of arts programming under the stars, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, our celebration had to be postponed and much of our annual operations suspended. This unprecedented time has been difficult for arts organizations and has made the need for fundraising an even higher priority.

While we were disappointed to cancel our 2020 Gala, the Moonlight Cultural Foundation is moving forward with preparations to host our 40th Anniversary Fundraising Gala “Ruby Ball” on June 5th, 2021. The annual gala auction is the most significant fundraiser of our year, and all funds raised at the gala will directly benefit our mission to build and engage community through transformative arts experiences by providing philanthropic support for Moonlight Stage Productions and Moonlight Youth Theatre’s arts education programs.

Through your support of the Moonlight Cultural Foundation, you are allowing us to continue what we’ve done best for the last 40 seasons: enrich our community with a vibrant artistic heartbeat. The arts are fundamental to our humanity. They challenge and inspire us. They bring us joy, help us express our values, and build vital bridges between cultures across our world. The arts are also a fundamental component of a healthy community—strengthening us not just socially, but educationally and economically—benefits that persist even in difficult social and economic times.

Please consider supporting our event by donating in-kind items, such as gift certificates, merchandise, or services. In appreciation, you will receive excellent community exposure and advertising. Your company name and logo will be listed in our event program, as well as on our website. Additionally, all donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law and we will provide the appropriate documentation for your records.
