I am honored to serve again as Chairman of the 40th Annual St. Louis City Firefighters Local 73 Charity Bass Tournament, taking place on April 16th–17th, 2025, at Bull Shoals Lake. This event has become a cherished tradition for Local 73, bringing together approximately 30 two-person teams, where at least one member is an active or retired union firefighter. While we enjoy the camaraderie and competition, the heart of this event lies in its purpose: to support the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Burn Center. Pediatric burn injuries can be devastating for families, both emotionally and financially. Proceeds from our tournament are dedicated to critical resources such as equipment upgrades, clinician supplies, compression garments, and other essential medical items not covered by insurance. Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, last year’s event raised $5,171.76 for the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Burn Center. Each year, we aim to grow this impact, ensuring more children and families receive the care they deserve. We kindly ask you or your company to consider donating to this important cause.
