Description

The Chicago Jobs Council will host its 42nd Annual Meeting on Friday June 16, 2023 at 9:00 AM with a theme of “What’s New And What’s Normal”. This event will be in-person at the new BMO Tower and include a breakfast, organizational updates, a panel discussion, a presentation of the Betty J. Wilhotte Award, networking opportunities for members of the workforce development field, and of course the silent auction.

Proceeds from our silent auction will support our work as we provide public and customized trainings, learning cohorts, and communities of practice; engage with stakeholders to facilitate changes that lead to a more equitable workforce development system; and advocate for policies to eliminate barriers to employment and create equitable career pathways.

With an expected audience of 125 individuals in attendance, the event showcases our commitment and expertise of Chicago’s network of organizations, businesses and partners that are helping unemployed individuals access the preparation and training needed to get back to work. Additionally, we will be sharing details of the event with our email list of over 3,000 individuals and social media network of 10,000+ individuals.
