For the 44th year, nearly 1000 of caring community members in Tampa Bay and across the nation will come together for Cornerstone Family Ministries’ annual Wonder Walk/Run. This meaningful event is open to everyone – no matter age or ability – and raises scholarship funds that provide life-changing opportunities like quality early childhood education and nutritious food to economically disadvantaged 0-12 year old students at our Rosa Valdez Early Learning Center & Lab Schools. Since 1892, Cornerstone has been a source of hope for local children and families and in response to an ever-growing need, Cornerstone Family Ministries is proud to announce that last year, we opened a new Rosa Valdez Early Learning Center at Oak Grove UMC! This center serves an additional 87 children, more than doubling the need for scholarships to provide educational opportunities.
