This year marks the 45th Anniversary of the Vietnamese Association of Illinois (VAI). For four and a half decades, we have served and empowered thousands of immigrants and refugees across the state of Illinois. In 2021, we continue to adapt and respond to the
critical needs of the community.

In honor of this special milestone and in lieu of our annual gala, we are excited to launch our “45 for 45” Anniversary Campaign to raise $45,000 and continue VAI’s legacy of service and community building for the next 45 years and beyond. Throughout this year,
we have events and activities planned to celebrate this occasion in our community, including a community event to ring in Lunar New Year! During the Lunar New Year event, we will have cultural performances, games and gifts bags for all attendees.
