Description

That’s a big ambition for one day, but don’t worry - you won’t be doing it alone. This year, the Annual SRCPC Auction will be online AND in person at the Ralph Thornton Community Centre!

From newborn babies to lively and energetic six-year-olds, children in our community learn, explore, and grow at SRCPC. The Centre, founded in 1978, is an Early ON site, registered charity and one of the oldest family support programs in Toronto. From engaging in person programs to daily Instagram Live Circle Times, weekly online and in-person workshops for caregivers and fun themed Zoom drop-ins for the entire family, SRCPC has been the place to be for families in the east end to engage with each other and the community, even throughout the pandemic. Our staff have been connecting with families to conduct developmental screenings for infants and referring
them to appropriate services through informal counselling, and fostering secure attachment between infants and their caregivers with our Baby Love program.

Last year, 11,038 families joined our virtual services, 907 families visited the Centre in person, we hosted 25 workshops, 12 outings and 50 families attended 4 Baby Love attachment parenting series for free.

As a member of the Auction organizing committee, I am asking for YOU to help to make the event a success and enable children and families to grow and develop in our community.

We hope you will join us in our endeavour to offer quality programming by contributing one or more silent auction items. Donations will help our auction event to be a success and will support SRCPC to raise crucial funds for parenting workshop series, developmental screenings, Baby Love, and other programs that government funding does not cover.

We hope you will show your support and donate:
● An item to be auctioned, or a $100 class pass
● A $100 gift certificate

Your generosity will help children in our community to learn, explore, and grow.
