New Beginnings is celebrating 45 years of service to the Washington, DC, metro area (DC, MD and VA), where we also have the distinction of being the only ongoing divorce support group that is open to both men and women and is also open to people with or without children.

Our mission is to educate and support people coping with marital separation and divorce, through facilitated discussion meetings, expert speakers and social events. 

Twice a year, we offer our signature 6-week public education series, Divorce 101, featuring 13 top family law professionals giving an overview of the divorce process in Maryland. Our goal is to provide a foundation that enables participants to make wise choices about their future.

Funds raised will support our ongoing programs and help ensure that New Beginnings continues as the singular resource it is for people experiencing the life crises of separation and divorce.
