I represent the Point Pleasant Borough Band Boosters, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization.  The Band Boosters is a dedicated group of parents who volunteer and support the students who participate in the high school band program. This program provides opportunities for students to perform in a variety of musical activities including Competition Marching Band, Concert Band, Pep Band, Jazz Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, and Pit Orchestra. Our award-winning marching band is the 2018, 2019 TOB State Champions and 2019 TOB Atlantic Coast Champions. They have performed in many exciting and prestigious venues, such as Virginia’s Festival of Music, Lincoln Center, Boston Music Festival and Walt Disney World. The band also performs at our community’s many local observances, such as Memorial Day, Veteran’s Day, Ocean County Policeman’s Memorial, and our September 11th Memorial.  These students represent themselves, their high school, and their community with respect, pride, and honor.

Our 48th Annual Craft Fair and Gift Auction will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Point Pleasant Borough’s Memorial Middle School. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Our goal is to raise proceeds to fund scholarships for all graduating senior band and color guard members and for a variety of band needs.  We are excited to keep this tradition alive and are hoping it will be as successful as in the past.
