Dear Donations Committee:
The Elgin High School Parent-Teacher Organization is holding its 48th annual Flea Market on March 12, 2022 at Elgin High School. This is our primary fund-raising activity for the year and one of the ways we raise money is to hold a raffle at the Flea Market. We use the money we make to help support the school by way of grants to teachers to purchase items to enrich their classrooms, scholarships to graduating students and support for various school clubs and activities. Students earn money to support their clubs, athletic teams and other activities by working at the Flea Market. We typically have over 150 vendors at the Flea Market and draw 2,500 paying customers!
The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) of Elgin High School is a 501c3 nonprofit that brings together the EHS (Elgin High School) community where parents, alumni, teachers, staff members and residents from the Elgin area to support our EHS students.
We are looking for donations from local businesses to include in our raffle. We will recognize all local businesses who donate by placing their name on an appreciation board that we will hang up at the raffle table. We hope that you are able to support us and donate something for us to include in our raffle. We will supply a donation receipt letter. Our 501c3 number is 46-0864258
Donation would be needed by February 18, 2022. Donations can be mailed to: Elgin HS PTO, Attn: L Bautista, 1162 Clover Hill Lane, Elgin, IL 60120. We can also pick up a donation.
