Dear prospective donors,
On November 2, 2018, I plan to host our 4th annual fundraising event for Staten Island University hospital in memory of my Dad, Robert Cognetta. A special dinner and live performance by an Elvis tribute artist set the stage, to be held at Staten Island's The Vanderbilt at South Beach, 300 Father Capodanno Boulevard, and anticipates 200-300 guests. We will also have raffles and a silent auction to assist in our fundraising efforts. Our EIN is : 11-286-8878

*****All donations are greatly appreciated and advertised in our event pamphlet given to all attendees. Donations valued at $300 or more will be included on our photo backdrop and event computer screens streamed throughout the evening of the event. **

This event will serve the following purposes:

1. To celebrate life, promote heart health, awareness, and help support other cardiac patients living with heart conditions through education via Northwell Health (SIUH).
2. Our focus will specifically be to donate all proceeds toward the specific care and updated treatments needed for cardiac patients and the families who care for them in our community. This will be provided also through enhancements to the Staten Island University Hospital (Northwell Health), Cardiac tower.
3. In memory of my Dad, to continue our new tradition and present our Robert Cognetta "Heart Hero" award to an outstanding cardiologist or individual in the field, for his or her work with the SIUH, but also for the dignity, respect, and professionalism they exhibit in our cardiac community. Our past recipients, Dr. Marcin Kowalski, Dr. Roman Royzman, Marion Foley, RN, and Vincent Quinn, RN, plan to form and serve on our committee to assist in selecting the next set of individualsĀ
