Our mission is simple: to help fight local hunger in students who are food-insecure. Each week during the school year, we provide a "Buddy Bag" to students in-need. Buddy Bags are shelf-stable, child-friendly sacks of food to help stave off hunger through the weekend when students are not in school. The bag contains breakfast, lunch, dinner, a salty snack, a sweet snack, fruit cup, applesauce and a beef stick. We host this annual charity golf outing as our primary means of fundraising to pay for the Buddy Bags. We are pleased to report that this organization and program are run strictly by volunteers, which means that 100% of donations go directly into the program. This is our fourth annual charity golf outing and we currently service 9 area schools. We have provided well over 10,000 Buddy Bags YTD.
