The Junior League of San Antonio will be having their annual Classic Fore a Cause Golf tournament on april 12, 2024. The funds raised from the tournament help to to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. In 1924, eleven women organized the Junior League of San Antonio, Inc. (JLSA), with a vision of making a difference in the lives of women and children in San Antonio. Almost a century later, the work of the JLSA has contributed over 1 million hours to the community, which translates into approximately eighteen million dollars worth of volunteer hours and over seven million dollars invested into projects in the community. The JLSA has made its mark in San Antonio through a number of organizations and community projects. For 100 years, the Junior League of San Antonio, Inc. has partnered with local agencies by providing funding and volunteer hours to projects which improve our community. Projects are selected which further the mission of the Junior League of San Antonio and are focused on areas pertaining to our mission and position statements.
