Our 4th Annual Dyslexia Experience & Gala: The Surfers is an incredible family-friendly Dyslexia Experience event on Friday, October 20th, 2023 as well as an adult-only Dyslexia Gala on Saturday, October 21st, 2023. This year our event will focus on the dyslexic strength of surfing! Dyslexic brains tend to have strong visualization skills and when it comes to surfing, this can translate to an uncanny knack of knowing how a wave is going to break, or where the break is going to take place, which often influences the result of the ride. Extreme sports like surfing also seem to attract fearless dyslexics, which makes this a perfect theme.
