On August 18th, 2024, the Jefferson County Literacy Council is having our 4th Annual Family Mini Golf Fundraiser at King Pin Adventure Golf in Fort Atkinson where adults golf for only $8 and all children golf for free. We will also be having basket raffles and other prizes at this event. All donated items and gift certificates are neatly arranged into raffle baskets so that participants can clearly see all donated items and see which companies generously donated them for a raffle basket drawing at the close of the event. Donors are also explicitly recognized in the basket packaging and the baskets are posted on social media. All proceeds from this fundraiser are used to provide free classes and tutoring services in English as a Second Language to help Jefferson County residents prepare for U.S. citizenship, GED testing, increase their reading, writing, math, and computer literacy skills, and to support overall family literacy. JCLC also annually serves approximately 200 individuals in communities throughout Jefferson County and inside the Jefferson County Jail.
