The Early Learning Coalition (ELC) of Polk County proudly presents our 4th Annual Gala on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the RP Funding Center located in the heart of Downtown Lakeland. Through this event we raise awareness and funds for early childhood education and development for the children in our community. Our coalition partners with over 300 child care providers county-wide and registers more than 12,000 children. Studies show that when a child receives high quality early childhood education, they are more likely to become an economically self-sufficient member of society as an adult.

The ELC of Polk County is a local 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. We have offices located in Lakeland, Winter Haven and Lake Wales. Our vision and mission is to make sure that children enter school ready to succeed and eager to learn. The focus of our program is to serve children from birth to age 5, particularly those from low income families and at risk of failure.

Last year we hosted approximately 300 guests at the event and this year our goal is to grow the level of attendance. With the help of the community we can become the beacon of hope for these Polk County families. Will you join us? In addition we are also in need of a service or item from local businesses that could be used as a silent or live auction item.   All proceeds from the event will be used to fund early childhood education initiatives of the ELC of Polk County.
