Coming Soon! The 5th Annual Homeward Bound 5k is scheduled for Saturday October 13th 2018!
Once again we will be holding the run at beautiful San Dieguito Park in Del Mar. Come out and support Coastal German Shepherd Rescue of San Diego. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit charity with a mission to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome neglected and abandoned dogs in Southern California.
The Homeward Bound 5k is a family-friendly, dog-friendly event. The course follows existing roads and dirt trails in the park. A short course option will be available. Prizes awarded to top finishers. Post-race contests to show off your dog: Best Trick, Best Dog-Human Look-a-like, Best Costume and more!
