Jenn’s Jems continue the advocacy work that Jennifer Winckelman D’Ambrosio began. Jennifer bravely fought breast cancer with dignity and grace for 11 years, all the while being a brave role model for her daughter. Jenn lived every moment for her daughter, doing whatever she could to have one last Christmas with her in 2020. On December 26, 2020, Jenn’s fight with breast cancer came to an end. Though she was taken from us too soon, her memory will live on in our hearts and the work we continue in her honor for the American Cancer Society through the Making Strides Breast Cancer Walk.

Jenn’s Jems Kickoff Remembrance Event will take place on Friday, September 13, 2024. This event honors Jenn’s memory while continuing the work that was near and dear to her heart, raising necessary funding for breast cancer health awareness for all genders because breast cancer has no gender. Jenn’s innovation and zeal for life is mimicked in the work we continue - promoting and supporting innovative cancer research that may not receive traditional funding. 

We welcome you in joining us to celebrate Jenn’s life while fundraising to help prevent what is anticipated to be a total of 42,250 women and 530 men dying from breast cancer in the U.S. in 2024. 

Let’s unite in continuing to Make Strides.
