In 2020, I created the Milford Holiday Lights Contest, giving the residents of Milford, Connecticut, the opportunity to win gift cards to local businesses for all their hard work spreading Holiday Joy during the tough year we were experiencing. The inaugural contest was such a huge success that it continued on to its now 4th year. Each year, the contest grows, such as in 2021, for the 2nd Annual Milford Holiday Lights Contest, I initiated the Most Festive Home category in which one home in Milford who exemplified the BEST home in Milford, received a check for $1,000, donated by Sponsors! In 2022, I included our neighboring towns, Orange & West Haven to have their own category together as well. This year, I'm reaching out beyond Milford & New Haven County to get more businesses involved & aware of this very community-driven event! Your donations to this contest will be split up & awarded to the all the smaller contest category winners like The Clark Griswold (Brightest Home) Santa's Little Helper (Most Creative) & Christmas Carols (Best Musically Animated Light Display) If you would like to make a monetary donation, that will be included in the top prize to the best home, as well as the second & third place winners.
