4th Annual Pancake Breakfast
Online Auction for Specially Adapted Resource Club (SPARC)Jul 12, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
This summer, we are inviting you to be part of a new celebration. On Friday, July 12, SPARC will host its 4th Annual Pancake Breakfast and Community Celebration at the American Legion Post 177 in Fairfax. This year’s event is especially meaningful, as we honor State Senators Jennifer Boysko, Kannan Srinivasan, and Delegate David Reid for their vital support in helping us open SPARC’s sixth center in Loudoun County.
This breakfast is more than just pancakes. It’s a celebration of lives transformed. Individuals like Kim Hoyt have found a place where they truly belong. Growing up without access to inclusive programs, Kim never imagined the opportunities she now enjoys—like learning to cook, building friendships, and shopping for groceries independently. Recently, Kim scrambled eggs for the first time—a simple act that brought her immense pride and symbolized a step toward greater independence. These seemingly small moments are life-changing, made possible by the nurturing, person-centered environment at SPARC.
We will be hosting our annual auction during this event—and for the first time, it will also be available online, expanding its reach to SPARC’s entire network.
This breakfast is more than just pancakes. It’s a celebration of lives transformed. Our Loudoun participants, many of whom had nowhere to go after aging out of school, are now learning to cook, building friendships, and feeling like they finally belong. Their stories of pride, confidence, and community are made possible by donors like you.
We hope you will consider supporting this event by donating an auction item. For the past three years, the breakfast has welcomed more than 220 guests, including nearly all members of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, as well as business and individual sponsors. It is a joyful, high-energy morning with a powerful mission.
We would be grateful for your continued partnership as we honor our champions in Richmond and raise critical funds to sustain this vital work.
