Paws in the park is annual fundraier hosted by Apollo Support and Rescue. It consists of a 1.25 mile walk that is dog friendly, live music, over 60 vendors, activities for the kids, dog training show, and more. Our Facebook page has 26k+ followers, we had over 800 people show interest in the event last year and over 300 attended (not all registered to walk) despite the cooler weather. We expect this year to be even bigger as we've moved the date to June for warmer weather. We have a strong following in our local community as well as throughout the US. Paws in the Park is one of our biggest fundrisers each year and helps us provide much needed medical care, food, and supplies for the almost 200 in our care at any given time.
