My fourth grade STEM classes are competing in a roller coaster design competion. They are learning about the energy conversions and forces involved in roller coaster design in order to build a model rollercoaster that is safe, fun, and creative.  To incorporate the "real world" into our design, students were told that their teams would be designing the next Six Flags roller coaster.  Students may work in pairs or individually and will be judged on Best Design Solution and Safest Roller Coaster.  I would love to be able to offer a set of 4 one day tickets for each student and their family to take a trip to Six Flags as a prize for winning the competition (16 tickets total).
