The Annual Antique Car Show on July 4th is a tradition over the past 25 years.  100 or more Antique, Vintage, Classic and Really Cool cars roll into our small town to celebrate the 4th of July with our residents.  Included in the day is a gift auction where the proceeds go towards the maintenance and upkeep of the historic St John's Church which currently houses the Lakehurst Museum.  Many communty groups participate in the day.  The whole car show and gift auction is hosted by the Lakehurst Borough Historical Society and the only fundraising for our organization is during the Gift Auction.  Our success has grown over the years and we have been able to not only care for the museum but hold other small town, community events such has pumpkin carving, Chili Cook Offs and monthly historic seminars about the town of Lakehurst or sounding area.  We are a small town with a huge heart and your support will be greatly appreciated by our residents young and old.
