Our large city-wide 4th of July Great American Bash celebration this year, we are looking to make it a FREE FAMILY EVENT, with live entertainment, and especially to increase the size of our children's play area with bouncy houses and water slides.  We really want to ensure families can have good clean fun without stressing over the financial costs to participate.  Our goal is to promote clean, healthy fun for children, along with focusing on activities that get children moving; we will also have adult and kid's relay races, plus food and art vendors. This is always coupled with the city-wide parade that our organization leads, as well as the great fireworks show that Vernonia enjoys.  All people involved are volunteers, so all proceeds go directly to making our goals a reality.

The Intercultural Society of Vernonia is a non-profit volunteer-led organization that promotes cultural growth for the community of Vernonia through the promotion and facilitation of festivals, events, and local projects. Our Mission: Bringing the community together.

In total, we will be hosting THREE UPCOMING COMMUNITY-WIDE EVENTS: Our Adult Easter Egg Hunt on March 23, 2023, our annual GALA Dinner & Ball Fundraiser in October 2023, and our 4TH of July Great American Bash celebration. We are seeking items and sponsorship for the three events and their raffles/auctions. Through the support of people like you, these three main events in 2023 grossed over $20,000, all of which went towards making those events and others successful.

Our goal for 2024 is to exceed that amount. By giving to the Intercultural Society of Vernonia, you will help us provide low-cost and free cultural events within our rural community that bring people together. Your support is vital to our events and we ask for your help to ensure its success.
