Meals on Wheels of East Texas is headquartered in Tyler, Texas. For the last 50 years, we have served the older and disabled adults of East Texas a hot and nutritious meal while simultaneously doing a welfare check by providing a daily social connection.  Over the last half century, we have served more than 5 millions meals to tens of thousands of clients. Ten years ago, we also began serving meals to over 300 pets since pets are an important part of our client's wellbeing. We currently deliver a daily meal to over 2,700 needy clients in seven counties comprising over 3,500 square miles, an area larger than the states of Rhode Island and Delaware.
