The LGBTQ Center Orange County was founded 50 years ago in 1971. In celebration of our Golden Anniversary we are rolling out the red carpet to reflect on the work done to get us to today, honor local leaders that have made an impact, and are reaching out to invite companies and organizations to support the continued effort needed in making a difference. Indigo Ball is the Center’s premier annual event, and though COVID-19 still remains with us today, we continue our perseverance in highlighting the milestones throughout our history.

It’s my hope that you will be able to toast our 50 years in the community by participating in our Indigo Ball on May 1st 2021 with an in-kind donation of support. It is with this determination that I contact you today, to help spread the awareness of the LGBTQ community, the work done by the LGBTQ Center Orange County, and to share the growth we have done during these unprecedented times.

The LGBTQ Center OC's mission is to advocate on behalf of the Orange County LGBTQ community, and to provide services that ensure its well-being and positive identity. We remain steadfast in our mission and never before has this work been more important. Our dedicated staff works tirelessly to meet the needs of the LGBTQ community in Orange County, by providing direct services where they are needed most.

• Youth Program: We continue to provide virtual support in 52 schools in Orange County and host peer support groups, community events and leadership development for LGBTQ youth.
• Transgender Program: Transition guidance and support as well as social support groups, legal services, community events and Trans* affirming counseling.
• Mental Health Counseling: LGBTQ affirming counseling to individuals, couples and families on a sliding scale since 1985. Counseling sessions provided 7 days a week and in multiple languages.
• HIV & STI Testing: Free, rapid testing is available by appointment, twice a week. PrEP information and referrals provided by our dedicated counselors.
• Immigration Resources: Outreach, education, advocacy and resources for LGBTQ immigrants and their families. Taking all clinics and citizenship classes online for the our immigrants to use as important resources,
• Advocacy: We are the voice of the LGBTQ community in Orange County. We advocate for inclusion, non-discrimination and equity so that all LGBTQ people are free, equal and secure.
