In celebration of 50 years advancing health equity across Los Angeles, Westside Family Health Center (WFHC) is bringing together supporters, community leaders, patients, and friends for a spectacular fundraising event at Sony Pictures Studios on October 10th, from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. This festive birthday party will feature music from the past five decades, a photo booth, a silent auction, and catering by Wolfgang Puck. That night, we will also honor the “Healthcare Heros” who’ve supported WFHC through the years: Providence Saint John’s Health Center, LA Care, and the Unihealth Foundation.

All proceeds raised will directly fund the provision of high-quality, comprehensive, patient-centered care to more than 12,300 patients from 190 zip codes across Los Angeles County every year. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, multiple generations of families access our vital services, including family practice, community outreach and education, reproductive health, pediatrics, prenatal, oral, and mental health. With all core programs located in a single setting, WFHC is a one-stop shop that addresses the interconnected health needs of low-income families regardless of their ability to pay. With 98% of our patients living below 200% of the Federal Poverty Line and 37% uninsured, WFHC is committed to advancing health equity. We reduce social determinants of health by providing Spanish translation services, assisting with Medi-Cal enrollment, connecting patients with external social support, and fostering a culturally competent environment where patients trust their care team.
