The Backyard Boil is a family friendly, live-music event where guests can expect a fun meal of boiled crawfish with all the trimmings while enjoying great live entertainment. Guests can also participate in raffle games and a live and silent auction featuring items donated by area businesses and individuals.

With its high attendance, the Backyard Boil gives in-kind donors a large return on their gift. The live auction is a highlight of the night, with guests often getting into bidding wars over items. Live auction donors are recognized in the event program, on stand-alone signage placed strategically throughout the venue, and during the auction itself.

The silent auction table is placed in a high-traffic and highly visible location, ensuring that all attendees are viewing the items throughout the night. These items include a bid sheet and signage that recognizes the item donor. In addition, photos are taken throughout the night and are posted on GCHFH's Facebook and Instagram pages.

An in-kind donation to our event will have a direct benefit to Golden Crescent Habitat for Humanity by allowing us to increase excitement for our live auction while minimizing our upfront costs. All proceeds from this event will be used to support our programs.
