Our foundation holds a yearly softball and baggo tournament in memory of our late friend, Steve Hess, who lost an aggressive battle with pancreatic cancer 4 years ago.  Steve was very involved in Kenosha sports and community, so we created this event to bring together the things he loved most. Yearly proceeds are given back to our humble town in the form of a monetary gift to a family who is struggling with their own health battle. This year, this family is that of Irene Gilles who is currently receiving treatment for a very rare form of chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension, which requires frequent treatment along with a fairly new surgical procedure at the UC San Diego Medical Center.
