At this event, typically attended by about 300 community members, we auction off gift cards, merchandise, and services generously donated by businesses like yours. The event proceeds will benefit the Brian P Sampson Scholarship Fund. 
 
Brian passed away unexpectedly at the age of 29 on August 23, 2016 from a known medical condition, SUDEP. Brian was an adventurous, funny, caring, smart, hardworking individual who always lived life to the fullest. Known as a Jack of All Trades, Brian could fix anything around the house. He was an avid softball player and thoroughly enjoyed watching all of the New England sports teams. The Brian P Sampson Scholarship will be awarded to an individual whom is pursuing a career in the building trades. There will be a secondary preference given to students living with a chronic illness or disability and issued through the Braintree High School. To date we have awarded 10 scholarships in Brians memory.
 
The event on August 19, 2023 will be our Fifth Annual Cornhole  Tournament with raffle prizes, silent auction items, food and entertainment.  
 
We would greatly appreciate any donation you can make. Should you make a donation for the silent auction or raffle, your business will be recognized on auction displays at the event as well as in our online promoting (Website, Facebook Page, Etc.). We will also provide a donation receipt with the tax exempt ID number for your records.
