5th Annual Cornhole for Corneas
Other Event Type for Lions Eye Bank of Delaware Valley/ AltruvisionJul 24, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out on behalf of AltruVision – A Lions Eye Bank, a nonprofit eye bank dedicated to enhancing lives by restoring and improving vision through cornea transplantation, medical research, and education. We proudly serve Delaware, Southern New Jersey, and Southeastern Pennsylvania, and facilitate over 1,000 sight-restoring corneal transplants each year.
We are currently planning our 5th Annual Cornhole for Corneas Fundraiser, taking place on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the iconic Mummers Museum in South Philadelphia. This event brings together cornea transplant recipients, donor families, partner surgeons, and community members for a fun-filled night of cornhole, music, butterfly release, celebration and more —all in support of those in need of a sight-saving cornea transplant with limited resources.
All funds raised go directly to helping individuals in need who are underinsured or uninsured receive the gift of sight through cornea transplantation. Your involvement directly impacts lives in our region by ensuring that cost is never a barrier to someone regaining their vision.
We would be honored to have your support. We are currently seeking:
Sponsors to help us grow the reach and impact of this event
Donated items for our raffle and silent auction (gift cards, gift baskets, experiences, etc.)
Teams and attendees to come play, connect, and celebrate with us
To learn more or get involved, please see the sheets included with this letter.
Thank you for your consideration in support of this meaningful cause. I’d be happy to answer any questions or connect you with our team to explore how you or your business can participate.
