Description

Dear Local Business Owner,

Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum is a federal tax exempt not-for-profit organization under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3). Our mission is to provide a community facility for children to learn through play and socialization and a place for parents/caregivers to connect.

Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum is hosting its fifth Annual Daddy Daughter Ball Fundraiser on Saturday, February 29th, 2020 at the Damascus Volunteer Fire Department Activities Center. The proceeds from this fundraiser directly support the operating costs of Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum located at 9882 Main Street, Damascus, MD. Since our opening in August 2018, we have had nearly 16,000 visitors to the Museum for Open Playtime! Our fundraising goal for this event is $10,000. This Annual fundraising event allows Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum to be accessible to all families within the community by offering affordable admission fees.

For the past four years, Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum has sold out tickets to the Daddy Daughter Ball. We have amassed a large following for this evening since the first Daddy Daughter Ball in 2016. In 2019, we had over 550 participants and tickets sold out weeks in advance. This year’s theme is “Imagine” to influence the cognitive and developmental mindset of young girls in our community. Imagination pervades our entire existence. It influences everything we do, think, and create. It leads to elaborate theories, dreams, and inventions.

Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum is seeking raffle donations for this memorable Daddy Daughter Ball.

During the event, items and services generously donated from participating local businesses will be featured in our raffle. Items donated can be of interest to young girls, fathers, or families. As a donor, your business card would be included with the item or service donated and we will promote your company’s logo on our website and social media accounts. With the hundreds of attendees we have each year, this is a fantastic opportunity for your company to share your products and services with the fathers and daughters that attend our event.

Please consider supporting Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum by sponsoring Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum’s 2020 Daddy Daughter Ball. We welcome monetary donations of any size. All donations are deductible under IRC Section 170. Contact Kymberli Petronio if you are interested in this community partnership.  Your participation is critical for the success of our fundraising event and organization. This is a fabulous opportunity for your business to show its commitment to the community and local organizations!

On behalf of Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum, we look forward to partnering with you in this most worthwhile endeavor.

Thank you for your consideration,
