Description

Let me introduce myself. My name is Kim Rencurrel. I am currently working with a terrific nonprofit, Shepard Meadows therapeutic horse farm right here in Bristol, CT on their annual fundraising event. This beautiful farm does amazing things for our local communities, and we could use your support.

No donation is too big or too small when it comes to this organization and the great things they do for our local communities. Monies raised benefits the horses, facility and programs.

At Shepard Meadows our mission is to support the growth and well-being of all individuals, including those with special needs, by providing Equine-Assisted Services (EAS) in a safe, caring, and professional environment. Our Vision is to bring the beauty and peace of our farm into the lives of the participants and families who visit, as well as our whole community – while helping people grow through accessible and compassionate programming. Our staff - both two and four legged - have so much to offer all members of our surrounding communities.

Our programming meets real needs, and our work is important. - Whether it's therapeutic riding, military veterans, youth development, horsemanship, horseback riding, or equine-assisted psychotherapy.

With all of this said, any support, great or small, can help more individuals improve their outcomes related to personal development, education, and physical and mental health.

Help us acheive our vision: To make a difference in the world; one person at a time, through individualized, creative, non-traditional, and experiential equine-assisted services (EAS) that are impactful and transformative for the self, family, and larger community. We envision connecting with, challenging, and empowering individuals through a wholistic lens while bringing happiness and joy for all ages. The farm and our EAS are renowned and in high demand. We are a unique, dynamic, and responsive resource; everyone feels better after spending time with us in our tranquil environment.
